Group Accountant | Central Manchester | ACA Qualified Accountant | E-Commerce/ Tech
Job Overview:
Axon Moore are currently working alongside a Private Equity backed, high growth e-commerce firm who are continuing to record excellent performance post covid with exciting plans ahead for further growth. As a consequence, the finance team is growing and we are currently looking to bring onboard a new Group Accountant into an already high calibre, and well-established team.
The role would ideally suit individuals who are newly or nearly qualified ACA, or have PLC industry experience. For the first 12-18 months the role will have a financial accounting focus, supporting the group function in the development of the annual report.
This role is viewed as a "landing zone" for any individual who is keen to further build their industry experience. With a continually growing organisation, the Head of Finance is keen to provide individuals with opportunities to expand their skillset outside of financial accounting, and move into other roles within the group as you develop a rounded career.

Location: Central Manchester
Main Duties:
• Produce financial information for external statutory reporting including half year and full year reporting.
• Produce quality financial information for reporting to external stakeholders.
• Assisting with the audit, ensuring key deliverables are provided.
• Keeping up to date with the latest financial reporting requirements.
• Lead and support on projects on an ad-hoc basis.
• Developing and delivering the review of business performance across various function to support the end of year analytics.
Person Specification:
• ACA Qualified Accountant.
• Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skill set.
• Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to disseminate financial information to none financial stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
