Job Overview:
Axon Moore are currently working alongside a Private Equity backed, high growth organisation that operate in digital marketing. This is a newly created role that acknowledges the need to bring in an ACA Qualified Accountant into a small, growing team to provide essential support, but also with succession planning in mind.
The role is ideally suited for individuals with a strong technical background, having worked in audit previously. The role has a broad remit, offering visibility across the entire business providing a sense of ownership and impact.
This opportunity also has succession planning as a core aspect to a succession hire. With a clear line of reporting, this is an excellent opportunity to be mentored by an ACA Financial Controller who is looking for someone to replace them within two years.
Salary: £45,000-£50,000
Location: Central Manchester

Main Duties:
- Preparation of key journals for month end process – WIP, accrued revenue, revenue reconciliation
- Review of month end journals prepared by finance assistant
- Preparation of monthly balance sheets
- Preparation of monthly client sales reports
- Preparation of weekly client reporting as required
- Preparation of client P&Ls for UK, Ireland and Australia
- Preparation of monthly management deck for UK, Ireland and Australia
- Day to day management of finance assistant
- Day to day organisation of billing team
- Assisting centralised credit control function with client queries and ad hoc reporting as required
- Ownership of monthly revenue recognition review process
- Project management of year end audit and tax processes
- Preparation of ad hoc client analysis
- Qualified accountant (ACA)
- Prior experience working in an Accountancy Practice.
- Advanced Excel skill set.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communicator.
