Group Financial Accountant

Axon Moore are exclusively working alongside an industry leading business near Wigan, who are looking for an ambitious Group Financial Accountant.

The sustained growth and strong market position of this business will provide an exciting progressive role, development from high calibre mentors, and wide exposure across the division.  


Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure professional and accurate reporting processes to finance and other external stakeholders in relation to periodic accounts and yearly accounts.
• Development of current and new processes
• Drive efficiencies to the AR/AP functions
• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, Direct Debit, BACS
• Preparation and submission of ONS returns
• Preparation of month end journals
• Manage the group fixed asset register and group leases
• Assist with the year end audit
• Responsibility for VAT Returns, HMRC returns and payments
• Day to day management of a transactional team of 6+
