Head Offices are based in the heart of Leeds City Centre, and the business are in the process of strengthening their finance team in Leeds. As a result, they are now looking to hire a qualified/finalist Group Financial Accountant who will work directly alongside the Group FC and report to the CFO.
Having recently implemented a new ERP system this role will be instrumental in embedding this. It will also be focused on the reporting of cashflow and working capital initiatives.

Key duties will include:
- Assist the team with bedding down of the new ERP system working closely with the IT team & commercial functionals to deliver required fixes
- Ensure full understanding of processes for both finance and other departments in the business
- Assist the Group FC in ensuring cashflow forecasting & appropriate funding in place for key monthly payments
- Responsible for controls & payment of monthly payroll across the group
- Responsible for the creation and improvement of monthly management accounts for the Group Control and approval of supplier payment runs & employee expenses
- Assist with the statutory accounts for both the UK entity and Group accounts
- Assist with the creation & implementation of a month end close timetable ensuring appropriate reconciliations are completed
- Completion of VAT returns
The successful candidate will:
- Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Finalist - Essential
- Have experience of implementing key controls and processes within a finance function - Essential
- Have experience of proactive delivery of solutions to financial issues - Essential
- Have previous knowledge/experience of Dynamics - Desirable
