Axon Moore is proud to have been retained to recruit a Group Finance Controller for a highly entrepreneurial, family-owned investment management company based in Cheshire. The Group is currently t/o c.£35m and is looking to grow both organically and via high-scale acquisitions. They are seeking an ambitious, dynamic ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant who will ultimately become Finance Director for the firm.

Reporting directly to the Board, you will be responsible for the following:
- Optimising the reporting and management strategies of each portfolio company including their financial planning and analysis practices
- Consulting with Managing Directors and members of the board to agree budgets and forecasts, guaranteeing a sound commercial strategy for each business
- Leading the finance function’s reporting and modelling practices to ensure effective systems and financial controls are in place.
- Building strong working relationships across the portfolio by providing pragmatic, valuable and constructive advice.
- Supporting with M&A / Integration of acquired companies
