Group Reporting Manager | Central Manchester | ACA Qualified | Business Services | Hybrid Working
Job Overview:
Axon Moore are proud to once again partner with a true market leader based in Central Manchester who are looking to bring onboard an ACA Qualified Accountant. This position will sit in the Group function, supporting a small team to deliver essential reporting. Salary: £50,000
Benefits: 20% bonus + extensive benefits pack
Location: Central Manchester + Hybrid working
Main Duties:
• Internal business partnering with senior management and recently acquired organisations.
• External facing projects – including but not limited to providing financial expertise for bids, tenders & transactions.
• Support the Financial Controller with commercial activities.
• Internal commercial work with Senior Leadership to develop and monitor budget/spends.
• Support for expected M&A activity.
• Review and simplification of group structure.
• Support on significant fund-raising activities.
• Support the development of a new Group Function.
• Participate in the monthly accounting close ensuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business policy.
• Be involved in the preparation of group’s annual operating budget / business plan to ensure that all financial targets are met.
• Responsible for Group reporting standards, being involved in annual audits, being the main day-to-day contact for the auditor.
Person Specification:
• ACA Qualified with IFRS experience.
• Strong technical skillset with clear commercial acumen.
• An effective leader demonstrating a clear skillset to support the wider team.
• Comfortable in a change environment and excel with project-based work.
• An ambitious person, looking for clear succession route to FD.
