Group Reporting Manager l West Manchester + Hybrid | ACA Qualified | PE Backed

As the Group Reporting Manager you act as a central point for the Group’s global finance compliance across statutory reporting and tax compliance. You play a key management and coordination role within the finance community in the areas of statutory reporting, financial control, and tax planning/management. You are also responsible for all external Group reporting to investors and the audits related to those reports.

Job Title: Group Reporting Manager
Location: Manchester + hybrid
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000

Main duties:

  • Preparation of Group consolidated and Group company statutory accounts, including report filings on an annual basis
  • Management of Group audit requirements being the key point of contact for the auditors
  • Preparation of Group management accounts, including consolidation, cashflow statement and variance analysis.
  • Liaison with regional finance directors to support analysis of monthly balance sheet positions
  • Preparation of monthly board papers
  • Management of all tax compliance requirements across the Group
  • Project work to drive improvements across the Group (reporting, process & systems improvements)
  • Continuous improvement of internal control processes and accounting policies

Skill requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Experience of working in an international and/or PE backed group (desirable)
  • Audit/transaction background from an international professional services firm
  • Knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP and experience in application
  • Experience of financial modelling of a consolidated Group structure highly desirable
  • Experience in preparation of annual statutory financial statements and investor relations preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across the Group
  • Performance driven & keen to exceed expectations. Ability to critically review and improve business processes & controls
  • Pro-active, confident and highly collaborative individual who can present recommendations in an influential and persuasive manner to drive change & guide strategy
