Axon Moore have been engaged by an organisation in hyper growth, they are a large, owner managed business consultancy that have doubled in size over the last 2 years with revenues now in excess of £300m. Based in Leeds city centre they are looking to hire a Head of Commercial Finance to lead the commercial finance function.
Reporting in to the Director of Finance you will be a key component in the provision of useful financial & management information which can be used for decision making & to identify opportunities alongside business partnering the sales team on bids/tenders.

Responsibilities:
• Develop & prepare relevant, regular & timely reporting for the business to understand
• Provide sales with commercial support & analysis to assist in pricing strategies
• Identify areas of commercial and business risk within commercial bids and working to resolve or mitigate these
• Form part of the senior finance management team
• Identify trends in financial performance, providing challenge and recommendations, working with operational decision makers to maximise opportunities
• Insightful reporting of key strategic projects
• Prepare & develop KPI reporting for decision support
• Act as key business partner for sales teams
In order to be considered for the role you must:
• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
• Strong excel skills
• Financial modelling experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and explain complex ideas in simple terms with non-finance stakeholders
Salary
• £75,000 - £90,000
