Axon Moore is exclusively recruiting for a Head of Finance for a prominent Services SME based in Preston who have experienced sustained growth. With recently secured PE investment, the business now have great aspirational plans to rapidly expand in the next few years.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious candidate to take on a step up into their first Head of Finance position under guidance from high-profile PE specialist FD, CEO and advisors. This role will lead a finance team that is integral to the business in driving performance and being the main catalyst for change.

The successful Head of Finance can expect to:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the finance function
- Provide commercial insight, management information and business partner with non-finance stakeholders to drive performance
- Business Partner with the Managing Director and assist the Finance Director with the roll out of a new structure, strategy and vision
- Lead budgeting and planning processes with senior stakeholders
- Overhaul finance processes, accounting packs, reporting, board packs
- Implement a new ERP system
- Continuous improvement and implementation of new processes and controls
- Work with the FD to deliver ad-hoc projects around the business to add value
- Appraise new investments and assist in their integration post-acquisition
