The Role:

Axon Moore is thrilled to partner with a reputable, privately owned business based in Barnsley to recruit for a commercially focused Head of Finance to join their team. If you are looking to hold a crucial role in a long standing and ever-growing business, then I would encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

-          Lead & oversee the company’s financial processes alongside performance. Ensuring processes are streamlined and inline with relevant compliance and policy.


-          Implement management systems and financial KPI’s to ensure processes are efficient.


-          Communication of financial insights to internal & external stakeholders.


-          Budgeting & forecasting.


-          Maintaining of financial systems & data bases.


-          Ensuring the company operates in line with relevant financial policy & compliance procedures.


-          Provide insight to the development and implementations of company systems.


-          Manage, trained and develop the transactional and accounting teams within the company.


Requirements:


-          Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).


-          Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Commercial Finance or Head of Finance role is desirable.


-          Strong MS Excel skills.


-          Strategic and commercial thinker.


-          Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


-          Ability to effectively manage a team.


-          Ability to prioritise and balance a range of duties.


-          The desire to take a hands-on approach and get involved with a company as a whole.
