Senior FP&A Manager (Head of Finance) | £70,000 - £80,000 | Plus Car Allowance + Bonus | Preston | Private Equity Backed SME | High Growth Business
Axon Moore has exclusively partnered with an exciting SME in Preston who have recently received external investment from a leading national private equity house.
This business is in a lucrative industry and the investors are looking to drive some short to medium term goals with the business to expand (both organically and through M&A) ahead of an exit in the not too distant future.
The new Head of Finance will work with an established and proven CFO and will be responsible for everything internally regarding finance. This is primarily a very hands on commercial role due to the strength of the team below but it will be a well rounded end-to-end position.
They will lead a small finance team, and will be responsible for reviewing and improving month end, including overhauling existing systems / processes across the business to create room for expansion. They will work the CFO and investors to develop more accurate reporting and MI, and they will be responsible for working with operational directors to drive business performance across the entire business.
The Head of Finance will be involved at a strategic level to find areas and opportunity for value creation, and they'll have external exposure in creating and developing these plans. With a small but high impact finance team below, they will be very well supported in realising these goals and I'm confident this role will be a big success for the right candidate.
