Axon Moore are delighted to be working in partnership with a high-growth, PE-backed Manufacturer in the Health-Care sector which have a number of trading entities in the UK, Group t/o = c.£80m. Recent growth and changes in the structure of the finance team has led to the creation of a new Head of Finance role to look after two subsidiary companies, one of which is the fastest growing in the Group with ambition to grow from t/o £12m-24m over the next two years.
This makes it an amazing opportunity for an ambitious accountant seeking a high-growth, PE-backed business where there is a very realistic opportunity to develop into an FD role quickly.
Reporting to the local MD with a dotted line into the Group FD, the role will manage both sites, the principal location for the role will be at the site based a few miles South-West of Dudley, with periodic travel to the other entity based in the South (which will be managed predominantly on a remote basis with travel as and when needed, but not more than once a month).
Managing a small team at each site, you will focus on the management of the teams whilst driving improvements across the finance function, to automate and improve process. In addition, you will manage corporate reporting, group external audit and development of associated financial processes. There will also be a number of exciting projects to get involved in.
To be considered, you must be CIMA/ACA/ACA qualified with PQE gained in Manufacturing - specifically, you must have STANDARD COSTING experience as you will be involved in the implementation of a new system which will involve the setting up of Standard Costing in the system.
