Head of Finance - Interim | £80,000 - £85,000 plus Bonus | Burnley | Hybrid Working | PE backed Industry Market Leader
Axon Moore is looking for an analytically minded, driven candidate with strong technical skills to join a leading brand in Burnley as their Head of Finance. The role will be an initial 12-18 month assignment due to an internal secondment but has the potential to become permanent.
Reporting to the CFO, this highly visible role is a great opportunity to get heavily involved in the day-to-day financial operations as well as work on the longer term strategy of the group alongside the CFO and PE House.
Your duties will be inclusive of but not limited to:
• Managing the Finance team, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
• Working closely with the operations team to understand and forecast one-off revenues and provide financial support to drive profitability improvement.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and controls, and support the wider finance team as required.
• Successful management of audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Business Partnering Senior Directors to understand the cost base and improve reporting to drive profitability.
This would suit a technically strong, commercially driven ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate who would thrive in a large-scale complex, fast-paced organisation.
