Job Overview:
Axon Moore are once again working alongside one of Manchester's most exciting and innovative charities who are looking to bring on board a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis as they embark on wide scale expansion due to exciting developments within the business.
My client is looking for someone to join them with a strong commercial background, demonstrating clear understanding of financial planning and a strong technical skillset to support the commercial division in driving profits.
Ideal candidates will have an ACA/ ACCA or CIMA Qualification, a background in commercial finance and a desire to working for an organisation looking to make a difference.
Salary: £55,000-£60,000
Location: Manchester + hybrid working
Main Duties:
• Responsible for achieving and maintaining the management reporting and engaging with budget holders.
• Responsible for maintaining and developing the financial control framework.
• Working with divisional heads to implement business intelligence solutions.
• Utilising a data rich environment to build key reports, dashboard and KPIs to provide insight into business performance.
• Work with divisional heads to maximise ROI.
• Work closely with the Commercial team to drive performance of revenue generating activities.
• Drive organisations strategy, contributing to the three-year business plan.
• Partner with the Finance Director to engage external stakeholders in the development of the strategy plan.
Person Specification:
• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience around budgeting and finance.
• Strong excel skills – Pivot tables, lookups, and excellent data analytics.
• Confident communicator able to communicate financial information to senior management.
• Experience working in the charitable sector.
