Interim Financial Controller

Axon Moore are pleased to partner with growing business as they look to recruit an interim financial controller for an initial 6 month contract. This role will have responsibility for the control environment, monthly and quarterly management and statutory reporting and oversee the payables, accounts receivables and payroll teams

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the
• organisation
• Direct and supervise the monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
• Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants
• Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback
• Monitor and improve financial controls, systems and reports
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

 

The successful candidate will be qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with a proven background across similar role, strong people management and the ability to take ownership of the processes and controls
