Axon Moore are working with a service based business in Shipley who are looking at strengthening their team on a short term basis.
They are looking for an interim Financial Controller to join them and assist them for a period of 3-6 months whilst a permanent candidate is sourced. This role could be open to a temporary to permanent placement.
Your primary function will be to assist with areas of the day to day finance, in additional to assisting with streamlining of the business. Supporting senior management, as such the successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively at all levels. It requires a good level of commercial acumen, a flexible approach to the role, and a genuine desire to help continue building a sound business where you can offer vision, focus, and assist the creative flair within the business.
As Financial Controller your duties will be to assist in a range of areas including:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, and annual statutory accounts
• Reconciliation and control of the balance sheet
• Producing cash flow forecasts
• To assist the senior teams with ad hoc reporting requirements
• Ad hoc duties as required
Person Specification:
• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA Qualified (Qualified by Experience will be considered)
• Strong analytical, report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Previous experience in a similar Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant position
