Job description
Axon Moore are looking for an interim Financial Controller for a well-established and well known business based in the Leeds area. The role is for circa 4 to 6 months, your remit is to review and oversee a large division of the business and keep things ticking over until the new permanent hire is in place.
This is an excellent position where you will support the Finance Director whilst developing strong financial and business relationships across the group.

Duties as Interim Financial Controller will be:
- Ensuring strong financial control over key processes in a growing business.
- Production of annual statutory accounts and provision of relevant information / explanations for the auditors
- Review monthly management accounts and reports
- Produce the board reports
- Produce rolling 12 month forecasts
- Approve payments for payroll and accounts payable
- Prepare the VAT return
- Assist with the Auditors
- Support the Finance Director with ad hoc tasks.
