Job description
Interim Financial Controller required for a successful SME manufacturing company who are looking for to cover a vacancy for 6 months. This role can be viewed as an opportunity for a temp to perm role or interim assignment.
As Financial Controller you will be reporting to the Part-time FD with a dotted line to the owners. Your be responsible for all day to day finance including the management of an Assistant Accountant.
Duties as the Interim Financial Controller will include:
• Production and consolidation of management accounts and production of board pack aspects.
• Analysis of month end variances
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Responsible for day to operational finance, payment runs, payments and receipts processing.
• Responsible for Quarterly VAT submissions
• Reviewing stock levels
• Ad hoc reporting
We are looking for ideally a qualified accountant who has operated at Financial Controller level previously.
• CIMA / ACA or ACCA qualified
• Excellent Excel skills
• SME Manufacturing experience is advantageous
• Available to start immediately or with a weeks notice
The role is offered on a hybrid basis, inside IR35.
