Axon Moore are partnering with a successful Investment and Advisory business near Wigan to recruit an ambitious Investment Analyst.
This is a unique opportunity for a newly qualified ACA accountant, who is a self-starter with excellent analytical ability, creative mindset and excellent problem solving skills.

Responsibilities would include:
- Assessment and analysis of new investment opportunities for VCT and EIS funds
- Assist with financial modelling and detailed assessment of financial information for both new and existing portfolio companies
- Develop a strong understanding and commercial awareness of key elements of investment documents typical for EIS / VCT transactions
- Business development and deal origination activities, working alongside other members in the team to target both existing and new network of contacts to build pipeline of investment opportunities
- Attend board meetings and work alongside founders and management teams to assist with strategic decision making, financial analysis and forecasting, and preparation of any relevant investment committee recommendations
- Responsibility for reporting requirements and monitoring of key elements of the VCT fund conditions and criteria
- Assisting with the preparation of investor communications and statutory reporting requirements including: VCT offer documents, annual report and regulatory news announcements
