Management Accountant | £35,000-£40,000 | Wakefield | Permanent
A successful, growing, privately owned business operating in an exciting, recession proof industry is looking for the right person to join their finance team as a Management Accountant.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will work within a close-knit team to ensure the day-to-day finances are completed in a varied and fulfilling role.

As Management Accountant your duties / responsibilities will include:
• Participating in the month end close process
• Preparing the Management Accounts for review by the FC
• Payroll interface with the third party outsource provider.
• Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations.
• Financial statements preparation and assisting with tax computations.
• Ad hoc tasks as needed.

Person Specification
- Previous work history within a similar role, particularly displaying on your CV experience of preparing monthly management accounts.
- Excellent attention to detail, meticulous and highly organised
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and confident user of IT systems and hardware
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to use your own initiative and work through problems successfully
- Confident and positive outlook
- Hard working and committed
