Management Accountant | South Manchester | £40,000 | Manufacturing
Job Overview:
Axon Moore are exclusively engaged with a high growth and innovative Manufacturing firm based in South Manchester who are looking to extend their finance function.
Operating directly to the Financial Controller, this is an ideal role for an individual with a manufacturing background, and looking to hold a varied and broad position in a well established finance team.
Salary: £40,000-£50,000
Location: South Manchester
Main Duties:
• Assist with preparation of the month, quarterly and Year end process
• Maintain Fixed Asset register and help to build a robust Capex Process
• Completion of SOX controls and uploads to the Group systems
• Assist with R&D claim data
• Preparation of the VAT Returns
• Assist with continuous improvements around the month end close process
• Assist with monitoring and controlling spend
• Preparation of any Regulatory reporting
• Assist with stock counting process
• Support & training of the team
• Assist with the budget and forecast process
• Support with any other Ad hoc business requirements
Person Specification:
We will be interested in speaking to you whether you are part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience. The priority on this role is clear and evident experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
