Management Accountant | Rochdale| £40,000 - £50,000 | PE backed business
Axon Moore are working with a market leading, fast paced PE backed business in Rochdale who have created a new role for a Management Accountant to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Following recent PE investment, the business are undergoing rapid growth both organically and through acquisition.
Working closely with the Financial Controller & CFO, you will be responsible for:

Following recent PE investment, the business are undergoing rapid growth both organically and through acquisition.
Working closely with the Financial Controller & CFO, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the processing and production of monthly management accounts including production of P&L, balance sheets, cash and business forecasts and related analysis
- Acting as a key business partner with the operational leaders, ensuring accurate business reporting and strong operational/cost control as well as identifying margin improvements and growth opportunities.
- Prepare budgets including scenario planning and independent challenge. Roll out the approved budgets and ensure the operational team have a full understanding of financial expectations
- Act as a mentor/supervisor for junior members within the Finance team
- Responsibility for balance sheet, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Implementation and regular review of balance sheet reconciliations and controls
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified
- Minimum 3-5 years management accounts experience
- Team player with an ability to work in a fast paced environment
