Management Accountant | Oldham (2-3 days in the office) | £45,000 - £50,000
Axon Moore are working with a well established SME who have created a new role for a Management Accountant to join their team as the business goes through it's next stage of growth.
Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a nearly/newly qualified accountant to join a business who have undergone significant change in the last 12 months, making a number of process & system improvements.

Responsibilities include:
- Production of monthly management accounts including production of P&L, balance sheets, cash and business forecasts and related analysis
- Acting as a key business partner with the operational leaders, ensuring accurate business reporting and strong operational/cost control as well as identifying margin improvements and growth opportunities.
- Cash flow forecasting
- Accruals and prepayments
- Prepare budgets including scenario planning and independent challenge. Roll out the approved budgets and ensure the operational team have a full understanding of financial expectations
- Act as a supervisor for a small team of 2-3 indirect reports
- Responsibility for balance sheet, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Implementation of new processes and policies as the business continues to evolve
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA nearly or newly qualified
- Minimum 2 years management accounts experience
- Ambitious individual, hungry to learn and develop
- Sage 50 experience would be advantageous
