Management Accountant | Salford Quays (Hybrid) | £40,000 - £47,000 | Highly acquisitive business
Axon Moore are working with a highly acquisitive business in Salford Quays who have created a new role for a qualified Management Accountant to strengthen their team. The business are high growth, and are a real market leader in their industry.
This is a value-added commercially focused role with future progression to Financial Controller.

Axon Moore are working with a highly acquisitive business in Salford Quays who have created a new role for a qualified Management Accountant to strengthen their team. The business are high growth, and are a real market leader in their industry.
This is a value-added commercially focused role with future progression to Financial Controller.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis of any variances
- Completion of an established reporting pack
- Management of monthly ledger close, co-ordinating with other departments to ensure they are ready on time
- Business partnering with department heads to resolve anomalies and explain results
- Cost and margin analysis
- Overheads analysis
- Quarterly forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Supervision of WIP analysis
- Overseeing accruals and prepayments, accrued and deferred income transacting
- Implementation of stock count spot checks and other internal audit processes
- Ad-hoc support including reporting analysis and other special projects
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
- Ability to communicate confidently with a variety of people across the business
- Driven individual with ambitions to become Financial Controller
