Management Accountant (3 Month FTC)

£41,000 – £44,000
Axon Moore has an urgent requirement for an immediately available qualified management accountant.
The successful management accountant will support the Director of Finance and other senior members of finance in the production of the quarterly management accounts. Allowing the business to be managed efficiently and effectively.
The role includes responsibility for the compilation and presentation of financial analysis, arish finance support, management accounts, treasury, and financial reports as required by the Director of Finance. You will be expected to ensure financial compliance with Charity Law and both internal and external deadlines
are met to the highest of standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Management accounts are produced on a quarterly basis and all subsidiary companies, including full commentary and reports showing the aged debtors and creditors for each subsidiary, with an update of actions taken in the month.
• All accruals and prepayments are posted for all areas.
• Prepare meaningful cash flow forecasts and statements.
• Provide monthly reports on the cash position, including a commentary to be included in the management accounts.
• Ensure that budgets and forecasts including meaningful commentary are produced for all areas.
• Provide meaningful reports to committees as required.
• Liaison and point of contact for external auditors.
• Aid with management of the transactional processing team, via a matrix management structure.
• Ensure that all transactions are managed and processed as appropriate, and that monthly reconciliations and reports are produced
• Ensure all debts are chased in a timely manner
• Ensure all purchase invoices are paid as appropriate
