Axon Moore are exclusively working with a fantastic entrepreneurial SME in Lancaster to recruit an ambitious Management Accountant. They're a robust, long-standing business with a strong reputation.
This will be a brilliant long term opportunity for an individual who is business minded, wants to contribute to the company’s ongoing success, and learn directly from a high-calibre and very knowledgeable MD. Ideally candidates will be nearly or newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong analytical ability, and able to manage multiple projects in tandem.

Responsibilities include:
- Day to day management of the full finance function
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Preparing and posting of month end journals
- Preparation of Accruals and Prepayments
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Continuous improvement of month end reporting pack and timescales
- Implementing new controls
- VAT returns
- Margin analysis around costings, materials ect
- Business partnering across the wider business
- Management and ongoing development of one junior accountant
- Ad hoc project work
