Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a growing business in Preston who are looking for an ambitious newly qualified Management Accountant. This is a unique opportunity for a forward- thinking individual to join the business at an exciting time.
Key responsibilities:

Key responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and complex work in progress
- Assisting with annual completion of the group budget
- Identify and develop improvements to existing business processes including those within finance
- Enhanced focus on improving internal reporting, building MI pack and focussing on potential areas of the business
- Completion of VAT returns for group companies prior to submission to HMRC
- Posting of corrective journals to system and ensuring MI agrees to relevant system on a monthly basis
- Assisting the Group Financial Controller with ad hoc projects
