Management Accountant | £35,000 - £40,000 DOE |Bolton & Hybrid (2 Days in Office/ 3 Days at Home)| Broad exposure | Flexible Working Hours
Axon Moore are pleased to be working on behalf of a well-established yet rapidly growing services organisation based in Bolton who are looking to add a Management Accountant to their team.
This is a newly created position which will provide additional support due to growth within the business. The company has seen significant growth over the last five years, and this role is to further strengthen the finance function in line with its growth plans for the next five years.
A generous starting salary is on offer up to £40,000, and the business also boasts a great working culture with hybrid and flexible working also on offer (2:3 days office/home split).
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts with appropriate commentary where required
- Being a valued business partner with the Operations team to support and assist in making business decisions
- To ensure balance sheets and cashflows are accurate and reconciled
- To provide appropriate additional analysis to support the accounts and any ad hoc analysis as required
- To assist in the year end audit and provide supporting schedules
- To assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Ad-hoc tasks
- Good management accounts experience
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualified or QBE
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Great attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Able to quickly adapt to change
