Axon Moore are recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a highly acquisitional Services business in the Blackburn area who have experienced sustained growth. With recently secured PE backing, they now have great aspirational plans to triple their turnover in the next few years.
The role would suit an ambitious candidate who is confident leading a team, with a problem solving mindset and ability to drive change and efficiencies.
Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing and management of aggregation process, ensuring all companies management accounts are produced in line with the month end timetable
• Review of subsidiary companies balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure prepayment and accrual balances are posted accurately
• Review of VAT returns
• Review subsidiary management accounts prior to distribution
• Review year end files statutory accounts for subsidiary companies
• Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed
• Stock analysis
• Assisting with newly acquired entities; inputting opening balances & maintain financial records
Reporting directly to a high calibre Financial Controller, this will be an excellent progressive role and an opportunity not to be missed.
You will ideally be part qualified or finalist ACA/CIMA/ACCA, however QBE individuals with relevant industry experience will also be considered.
