The business are now looking to hire a Qualified and highly ambitious Management Accountant to report directly to and work closely with the Finance Director.

The role be hands on with a key focus on KPI reporting, data, analysis, and developing the new recently implemented ERP system.

This role would be ideally suited to someone with a good grounding in management accounts, who has recently qualified and is looking to step up into a hands on role where they can work directly alongside an FD, and be involved in the data/systems side of finance.

This person will have a real opportunity to add value, and the role will provide a clear progression path to FC/FD level in line with their current succession planning!

Key duties will include:

Production of the monthly Management Accounts
Project work - developing and improving the use of the newly implemented ERP system (Open Accounts)
Assist the development and review of annual budgets and forecasts
Develop reports to provide greater insight and analysis
Develop and produce insightful reporting from data to aid business decision making
Provide regular reporting on the relevant KPIs
Assist in producing analysis for costs and pricing
Manage daily, weekly and monthly Nominal Ledger entries
Accruals and prepayments, depreciation and other adjustments
Produce the monthly Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet and Cash flow statements
Monthly reconciliation and review of balance sheet control accounts

The successful candidate will:

Be ACCA/CIMA Qualified – Essential
Have a minimum of 3 years experience of producing management accounts – Essential
Have strong Excel skills, including data analysis and manipulation, pivot tables - Essential
Have an interest in data/systems/ERP implementation - Essential
