This is a brand new Management Accountant role working for one of the most successful property businesses in Yorkshire! Having being established for just over 35 years, this owner managed North Yorkshire based business have won multiple awards for their wide portfolio of high profile projects.
The business are currently based in Leeds, but will shortly be relocating their Head Offices to Harrogate town centre. So this role will be based from Leeds for a short time, before being permanent based in Harrogate (with some hybrid working options).
This role will report to and work directly alongside the Finance Director, and be responsible for the monthly management accounts preparation, reporting and budgeting and forecasting, along with some all round day to day processing duties.
This is an all round, varied and hands on finance role, working in an SME environment, directly alongside an experienced and knowledgeable Finance Director.

Key duties will include:
- Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and group consolidation to a tight deadline
- Year-end financial reporting
- Key role in year-end audit
- VAT returns/P11ds and CIS returns
- Daily cash posting
- Bank reconciliations and nominal Ledger maintenance
- Accounting for residential letting income and management charges
- Monitoring service charge and void expenditure and recovery against budget
- Capital/project expenditure monitoring against programme/budget and out turn forecast reporting
- Assist with the provision of financial information to business stakeholders
- Assist with budgets and forecasts
The successful candidate will:
- Be ACCA/CIMA part or fully qualified, or qualified by experience - Essential
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience of management accounts - Essential
- Have previous experience of Sage Line 50 - Desirable
- Have previous experience in the property sector - Advantageous not essential
