Axon Moore are recruiting on behalf of an exciting and growing business based in Oldham. My client is seeking a Management Accountant to join the finance team on a permanent basis.
The role of Management Accountant involves providing a business partnering service to all UK branches, as well as the accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting. You will ideally be a part or nearly qualified CIMA/ACCA accounting with a desire to become qualified. Line management experience is desirable for this role as there will be a small team of 3.
Salary - £38-42k DOE and qualification. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 25 after 5 years), pension, parking, 37.5 hours per week (9-5 with 30m lunch), on-site gym. Some hybrid working available once proficient and embedded into the role.

- Production of monthly management accounts and reporting
- Provide financial insight and support to business leaders
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cash flow and outstanding debt reporting
- Monthly financial reviews
- Forecasting quarterly
- Working capital review
- Job costing analysis
- Dealing with any finance queries
- Leading a team of 3 and coaching and training them
- Main point of contact from a finance point of view
- Ad hoc work as required
- 1-2 years Management Accounts experience, ideally while running a small team
- Excellent Excel skills are essential
- Business partnering experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Adaptable and solid team player with strong leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate accuracy and pay attention to detail
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of information is maintained
- Work in a mature, courteous and professional manner
