Marketing & Events Executive
£20,000 - £25,000 DOE
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Events
To assist a large team of consultants by:
Taking ownership of all of Axon Moore’s external (client) events planning;
Being heavily involved in the organising of internal (staff) events;
Taking responsibility for event bookings to ensure they remain within agreed budget;
Liaising directly with consultants with regards to their respective event(s);
Management of event invitees and attendee lists alongside general event comms;
Regularly update the events pages and other on the Axon Moore website; and
Taking a journalistic approach to writing high quality and engaging event recap stories;
Helping evolve Axon Moore’s existing events marketing ensuring it reaches the next level.
Marketing
To assist the Head of Marketing by:
Writing informative SEO rich content e.g. blogs, news items & web pages;
Posting relevant updates to company social media (LinkedIn, Twitter);
Helping maintain ongoing digital marketing strategy to attract new candidates and clients;
Staying up to date on the latest digital marketing trends while providing recommendations for improvements;
Helping create highly engaging digital designs to promote events, consultants and Axon Moore in general;
Updating website copy, imagery and the company database (REC) on a daily basis;
Liaising with all areas of the company to develop and produce promotional materials;
Having a creative, innovative, and forward-thinking approach to all marketing and events efforts
Desirable but not essential:
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Photography and/or Videography skills
Be willing and able to attend events including those in evenings
Understanding of Google Analytics
Knowledge of tools such as Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and eager to learn quickly while having an eye for detail and a genuine passion for events and marketing. The successful candidate needs to have:
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a creative subject (essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication, organisation and planning skills (essential)
A passion for organising events of any scale and bringing people together (essential)
Ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience organising events
Advanced skills of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint are essential)
A genuine interest in SEO, content creation and Digital Marketing
An understanding of Adobe Photoshop and its capabilities
Role Benefits:
Competitive salary (£20,000 - £25,000 pa) to be reviewed after a 6 month probationary period
