Job description

Axon Moore are delighted to working in partnership with a high-growth, market-leading Tech business in their search for a Marketing Executive, based at their trendy HQ office in Warrington. As a Marketing Executive for the IT software, hardware, and solutions brand with our Client, your primary responsibility will be to connect with the target audience and build the brand through innovative and compelling digital content. Your role will involve creating and publishing engaging content across various online platforms such as the website, LinkedIn, social channels, and CRM.


To be successful in this role, you'll need to understand the brand direction, marketing strategies, and effectively communicate with different audience segments. You will collaborate with product category owners, sales teams, and key vendor contacts to gather insights and develop content. Initially, your focus will be on content creation and distribution, but as the role evolves, you may also engage in advertising, events, and offline executions.


Your day-to-day tasks will involve writing content, conducting meetings and planning sessions, coordinating with creative resources, managing the website and sales channels, and owning the email marketing program in collaboration with the group's CRM team. Additionally, you'll be responsible for designing content marketing strategies, setting short-term goals, and contributing to sales team enablement and internal brand campaigns.


To excel in this role, you should possess a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple marketing channels.


Your role will play a crucial part in building a modern, proactive, and inspiring B2B business unit within the Group. You'll have support from the creative team for content and design, as well as strategic guidance from the Managing Director, Brand, and HR departments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the sales team in sales enablement and account-based approaches.
  • Creating written content either organically or in collaboration with vendors.
  • Managing the website and relevant sales channels, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Owning the email marketing program in coordination with the group's CRM team.
  • Developing content marketing strategies and setting short-term goals.
  • Creating content and campaigns for the sales team and internal brand.
  • Understanding user segmentation and implementing reporting processes.
  • Applying knowledge of demand generation tactics and lead conversion principles.
  • Crafting clear value propositions that resonate with targeted audiences.
