MI & Data Specialist

£60 – 70K + bonus + pension + life insurance

Office based – Stockton Heath, Warrington

A newly created role to support the FC and the wider Finance team with the development of key reports, to analyse the existing ERP system (Intact iQ) using a newly integrated reporting tool (Power BI).

The role will require you to design, build and develop reports in Power BI and similar systems to summarise regular and ad hoc information for the business, which must be well presented and user friendly as the reports will be used by the Board, Regional Directors, and Branch Managers.

The roll out of this new reporting tool will also require the documentation of process notes.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be business partnering Regional Director's / liaising at Board level to understand the business’s requirements and create new reports to assist these objectives.

There is also opportunity to assist the wider finance team ad-hoc as there is plenty to do in this fast-paced, high-growth business!

It would suit a logical, experienced Analyst who loves systems/reporting/process.... someone who is used to articulating information into user-friendly reports. (NB- you do not have to be a qualified accountant to be considered for this role.)

Being a new role, it needs someone driven and proactive with high energy to 'understand what needs to be done'.

Person Specification

Strong analytical skills – must have the ability to deal with large amounts of data, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail

Strong systems skills – advanced Excel skills essential and knowledge of Power-BI (or equivalent) is essential and knowledge of NPrinting would be beneficial.

Strong organisational skills – the ability to be a self-starter and be conscientious enough to self-check/monitor work as well as work to tight timescales

Good communication skills – ability to confidently explain financial information to non-financial personnel to support decision making and work with stakeholders to continuously improve reports
