Job description

A great opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join a highly respected, market leading business based in Stockport (Hybrid Working).

Purpose of the role:

The Payroll Administrator will primarily work closely with the Payroll Manager to assist with the preparation and processing of the monthly payrolls in the UK, Ireland, and US, and assist with administrative work for the Finance Team as and when required.

Responsible for:
  • Assist with the collating and manipulation of data for the monthly payrolls in the UK, Ireland, and US
  • Assist in the setup and management of any new monthly payrolls
  • Ensuring employees records are kept up to date, including starters and leavers
  • Monitoring the Payroll inbox
  • To support in the migration from to the new payroll & HR software platform
  • To work closely with the HR team in ensuring accurate information is received in a timely manner in line with required deadlines
  • Support in the management of unpaid leave, sickness absence and pay, parental leave and pay and any other leave adjustments
  • Assist with tax year end reporting duties, such as P11Ds and PSAs
  • Support the Finance team with administrative tasks as and when required
Profile – must have:
  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Be confident with Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Great communication skills
