Payroll Administrator (Part-Time) | £23,000 - £27,000 pro-rata | Wigan | 22.5 hours across 3 days per week
Axon Moore are pleased to be exclusively recruiting on behalf of a highly-valued client in Wigan as they look to grow their team with the addition of an experienced Payroll specialist on a part-time basis, working just 22.5 hours over 3 days per week. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Payroll bureau
- Responsible for all aspects from start to finish
- Reconciling payroll reports
- High volume/multiple payrolls
- Auto enrolment rules for assessing, joining, opting out employees.
- RTI Submissions
- Processing statutory payments
- Handling payroll queries
- Year-end returns
- Other ad-hoc duties
- At least 2 years’ payroll experience
- Able to efficiently manage and organise their workload
- Microsoft Excel and Sage proficient
- A good understanding of PAYE, NI, RTI SMP, SSP and other HMRC statutory regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive and self-motivated in nature
- Able to work efficiently towards deadlines
