Job description

Axon Moore are partnering with a growing business based near Preston to recruit an experienced standalone Payroll Manager.

This will be a significant opportunity to get into an exciting role with lots of change, challenges and be a part of an exciting journey especially with the business continuing to grow.

Responsibilities include:
  • Management and end-to-end processing of a monthly payroll for c600 employees
  • Helping with process improvements and efficiencies
  • Producing manual pay calculations and adjustments
  • Responsible for maintaining employee attendance records
  • Completion of P45 for leavers, end of year processing and reconciliation including payment summaries (P60’s/P11D’s)
  • Submission of monthly pension contributions
  • Producing payroll analysis to help understand the impact of changes in employees or legislation
  • Keeping up to date with relevant regulations/legislation and determine the impact of any changes, taking action to implement changes where necessary
Candidates must have a CIPP qualification, or equivalent and strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical application. Previous experience of Ciphr would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
