Axon Moore is partnering with a Private Equity backed business in its final business cycle before sale. They are looking for an ambitious newly qualified ACA / ACCA from practice who is looking for a brilliant, well-rounded Project Accountant role with deal exposure, closely supporting the FC & FD with ad-hoc projects around the business sale.
This is a coveted position that will spring board the successful candidates career giving them full end-to-end responsibility for the business’s accounts as well gaining highly sought after transaction experience as they support the FD, FC, and external advisors with preparation work.

This is a coveted position that will spring board the successful candidates career giving them full end-to-end responsibility for the business’s accounts as well gaining highly sought after transaction experience as they support the FD, FC, and external advisors with preparation work.
Responsibilities include:
- Production for the month end accounts including group consolidation
- Production and posting of key journals including accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income
- Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, and that all balances are correct, and differences investigated
- Assist with providing explanations to variances to budget, forecast and prior year
- External monthly reporting to funders
- Production of statutory accounts
- Prepare tax submissions for review for example relating to VAT, PAYE and P11Ds
- Weekly flash reporting
- Support the forecasting and budgeting process, providing information and analysis where required
- System integration & implementation
- Accrued income reconciliations
- Annual R&D Claims
- Preparation of DD readiness
- Transfer pricing review
