Job Overview:

Axon Moore are assisting a high growth Ecommerce business in the search for an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established family run business as they head into their busiest time of the year.

The company are a leading distributor of IT and tech consumer products. This is a maternity cover role within the accounts team – a busy team with a great welcoming culture.

As the business is heading into its peak season, it is essential that the candidate has experience in purchase ledger and general accounts administration to enable them to crack on straight away in the busy accounts team.

Salary: £22,000-£24,000

Location: Bury

Main Duties:
  • Accurate processing of large quantities of purchase ledger invoices using Orderwise Accounts and Sage 50
  • Responsible for the reconciliation of all company credit cards
  • Accurate preparation of weekly and monthly payments
  • Accurately process expenses from the sales team
  • Ensure that purchase orders, invoices and payments processing adhere to the respective control framework & approval protocols in place
  • Preparing BACS payments
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing VAT transactions accurately
  • Other ad hoc duties
Person Specification:
  • A get up and go attitude with the ability to work in a fast paced and varied environment
  • Experience of processing large volumes of invoices
  • Purchase Ledger and general Accounts Administration experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a close knit team
The successful candidate will be open to joining a successful accounting team at the heart of this £30 million revenue earning business. This is a critical role for the business as they prepare for their busy season and beyond.
