Axon Moore are proudly partnering with an extremely successful, exciting business – located near Chorley – in their search for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their dynamic team. This role will be well suited to an experienced, self-managing Purchase Ledger Clerk who possesses exceptional organisational skills as well as a keen eye for detail.

This role will be well suited to an experienced, self-managing Purchase Ledger Clerk who possesses exceptional organisational skills as well as a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices.
- Accurate matching of accounts to invoices and credit notes.
- Reconciling goods received notes to invoices received and purchase orders.
- Ensure all supplier statement are received and reconciled in a timely manner.
- Deal with supplier queries and emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details.
- Ensure that all invoices are processed and paid within the agreed terms.
- Preparation of suggested supplier payments reports.
- Send remittance to suppliers before payments.
- Previous experience within Accounts Payable roles.
- Clear and professional communication style with a tenacious, problem-solving attitude.
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive approach, enquiring mindset and flexible attitude.
- Capable of forging strong internal and external relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Well organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage own time efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of using Sage and Microsoft Excel.
