Axon Moore are partnering with a well-established business in the Ashton are who are looking to appoint a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk into the accounts team for a 2-4 month period. The role is based in the town centre, so driving or public transport would be the best means of travel.
The company are looking to help with the purchase ledger invoices through a busy period of volume. This role supports the team of clerks, reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager.
Salary – Up to £28,000 per annum based on an hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a clean purchase ledger
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements to the ledger supplier invoices with a high level of accuracy
- Resolve supplier queries and invoicing errors in a timely manner
- Other ad-hoc accounting duties as required
- Experience in a Purchase Ledger role or similar accounting position
- Experience with Sage 200 accounting software is essential for this role
- A strong work ethic - proactive in your work, showing initiative
- Team player, positive attitude and happy to help the wider team where needed
- Good attention to detail and able to work to a fast pace where necessary
