Job description

A fast-growing service company based in Harrogate, are looking to recruit into the team for a period of 12 months.  As Reconciliation Clerk, the role will combine areas of day to day duties as well as assisting with a system upgrade giving lots of opportunity to gain achievements on your CV, setting you up for your next role.

As Reconciliation Clerk, your role will include:
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Resolve queries effectively
  • Analysis of risk and unusual activity
  • Interpret / input data from daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Assist with a system upgrade including testing

Key skills:
  • Ideally a degree in Accountancy & Finance or studying towards AAT with an interest in starting a career in finance, or an individual with prior experience of a similar role as Reconciliation Clerk
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to communicate at all levels and be able to liaise with managers and clients.
  • Be able to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Be highly motivated and have a 'can do'/hands on attitude.
  • Have strong IT skills.
