Job description

An outstanding, permanent opportunity has arisen to join one of the North West’s most successful, award winning businesses as a Revenue Manager, based in Chester. 

As their newest Revenue Manager, you will be joining a dedicated, passionate team responsible for maximising revenue, where you will work closely with the commercial and operational teams as a true partner to optimise revenue. The ideal candidate will be a commercial and results-oriented individual who has excellent analytical skills 

Responsibilities will include: 

1) Price Management:
- Maximise revenue by making daily price changes to maximise revenue using their Revenue Management system. Each Revenue Manager is responsible for the performance of 3-4 regions which may include multiple brands and also maintain a SWOT analysis for each region. You must also be able to clearly understand and feedback on the challenges facing regions and make recommendations to improve performance.
- Forecast sales and revenue targets of regions and brands
- Management of pricing
- Attending and contributing to the weekly Revenue Management Focus meeting to review performance and agree strategy for your regions
- Attending team meetings and representing the team in relevant meetings across the business
- The team is reliant upon one another particularly in peak holiday periods, they are required pick up the work of their team members and approach this in the same way as their own work

2) Data analysis and report building:
- Analyse data and use it to make pricing strategies, which will directly affect EBITDA.
- Update and maintain daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports
- Support process and procedure delivery in revenue management
- Participation in weekly team meetings providing insight into findings
- Identify and maximise all possible opportunities and minimise any risks
- Integration of relevant acquisitions into daily processes

3) Relationship building and team partner
- Partnering a team within the business to maximise relationship opportunities
- Engage and influence other areas of the business to drive revenue

4) Ad-hoc projects/tasks
- Receive and handle multiple queries on a daily basis from all areas of the business and meet response SLA of 48 hours
- Support the delivery of Revenue Management projects 

To be considered you will have the following experience: 

Essential Experience:
- Good numeracy and data interpretation skills
- Delivery of numbers-based management reports
- Understanding of factors affecting price level
- Strong commercial awareness (ideally within the holiday lettings or travel and tourism industry)
- Understanding of browser based IT systems
- Strong Experience of using MS Office suite (Excel etc)
- Data analysis and data interrogation experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Understanding of Demand Elasticity and Revenue Management
- Making decisions based on data
- Identifying opportunities and threats
- Target driven

Desirable Experience
- Experience of working within the travel, tourism, hotel industries and/or property sectors (e.g. estate agency or residential lettings)
- Experience of stakeholder partner management with proven results
- Able to work in a target driven sales environment
- Forecast sales and revenue targets
- Process and procedure delivery
- Pricing background
- SQL experience
- Tableau experience
