Axon Moore are recruiting an Sales ledger Clerk on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Castleford. The opportunity would be ideal for someone experienced in a standalone, high volume position, working across a number of divisions within the business.

Responsibilities include:
- Issuing and recording of sales invoices to Third Parties following approval
- Issuing and recording intercompany sales invoices, including pass through invoices
- Ensuring automated invoices are being accurately processed
- Support the preparation of billing run process and allocate receipts to customer accounts
- Working closely with Credit control to resolve queries
- Ensuring accrued income is processed in line with Service Delivery reporting and KPIs
- Maintaining and building relationships with customers
- Liaising with budget holders/managers to validate invoices
- Timely responses to customers in relation to any queries
- Reconciling customer billing statements
- Reviewing and developing sales processes and controls
- Related filing and administration associated with the above
- Any other duties as commensurate with this position
Experience & Skill Requirements:
- Have strong Sales Ledger background experience
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft IT packages and ideally Sage
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work alone or with others in a busy, deadline-driven environment
- Understanding of financial accounting and cash management
