Axon Moore is thrilled to partner with a growing Scunthorpe manufacturing business to search for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their supportive team. The Responsibilities:
- Customer interaction – communicate to customers to address any concerns, payment issues and maintain / build positive relationships.
- Offer support in the month end process across report assistance and reconciliation / sales ledger reconciliation.
- Assist in the processing of invoices, including generating VAT compliant invoices and ensure all data follows accountancy & finance procedures.
- Accounts Receivable Assistance – Aid the company through monitoring & maintaining the receivable aging report.
- Provide reporting assistance and maintain well organised sales ledger records.
- Ensure compliance procedures are followed, adhering UK VAT regulations.
- Adhere to company policy and procedure.
- Proactively identify areas to streamline processes.
- Collaborate and communicate with the wider team & company.

- Previous experience in a Finance role.
- Previous experience working with invoices / credit control.
- Strong customer focused mindset.
- Competent across IT.
- Strong communication skills.
- Desire to get involved in a business, completing ad hoc duties when needed.
