Job description

A growing manufacturing business are currently looking for an Sales Ledger Clerk to join their them in their established team based in Blackburn on an initially 3 months interim

As the Sales Ledger Clerk your responsibilities will include:
  • Allocation of monies to the Sales Ledger.
  • Ensuring appropriate invoices and credit notes are matched to prevent customer disputes.
  • Liaison with customers for receipts without remittance advices.
  • Liaison with Credit Control Clerks
  • Review of unallocated payments.
  • Releasing all daily postings.
  • Customer refunds.
  • Posting of branch cash.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of unmatched payments.
  • Updating and communication of Target figures v current position
  • Review of aged debt at 2-5 years old.
To be considered for this role you should have:
  • Experience working within a busy finance role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
