Senior Finance Business Partner (Head of Finance) | £65,000 to £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bens | Chorley + Hybrid Working | Private Equity Backed SME | Acquisitive Brand | Progression to CFO / MD
Axon Moore has exclusively partnered with a recently private equity backed SME in Chorley as they look to increase their leadership team in finance as they continue to expand and take over more of the market.
Level wise, they are looking to hire a strong up and coming leader to head up one of their expanding entities. They will report directly to the Group CFO, and will work hand-in-hand with an entrepreneurial MD for an expanding division.
The role is titled Senior Finance Business Partner as it is a key hands-on role within operational finance tasked with driving the business forwards. However, the role is very much end-to-end from managing a team and accounts process (including yearend) through to commercial strategy, so it could equally be called ‘Head of Finance’. Due to the nature of their PE investors, the candidate will get exposure to a lot of projects and will need to be agile and flexible enough to learn quickly in the role and have the gravitas to drive and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Progression opportunities in this business are clear, with pathways to either CFO or MD with the exposure and development this person will receive in the role. They want an ambitious candidate who is eager to better themselves and relish the open opportunity to be a business leader.
Please note this role will require some travel around the UK up to a week a month (broken up over the month) to build effective working relationships. However, this is a progressive business receiving a lot of investment, so systems, accounts and data are available over the cloud, so they can work remotely.
