Senior Finance Manager | Trafford | £60,000 - £65,000 | Events / Hospitality Sector
Axon Moore are working with an exciting, well-established business in Trafford who are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join their team, this is a newly created role to support the Group Finance Director and manage a team of 2 direct reports.

Axon Moore are working with an exciting, well-established business in Trafford who are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join their team, this is a newly created role to support the Group Finance Director and manage a team of 2 direct reports.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Production of monthly management accounts for 3-4 entities
- Acting as a key business partner to several senior stakeholdes, challenging them and ensuring accurate business reporting and strong operational/cost control as well as identifying margin improvements and growth opportunities
- Accruals and prepayments
- Leading on annual budgets working closely with the Directors
- Manage a self-sufficient team of 2 direct reports, with an important part to play in continuing to develop a high performance and supportive culture within the team.
- VAT Returns
- Production of statutory accounts
- Responsibility for balance sheet, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
Person specification:
- ACCA/CIMA qualified however would consider part qualified/QBE candidates
- Good communicator with a hands-on approach
- Motivated self-starter looking for longevity in a role
