Responsibilities:
- Production of timely and accurate Management Accounts.
- Financial Control and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of Board and Management Information
- Apply operational controls identify areas for improvement/ weakness and suggest changes as appropriate.
- Margin analysis.
- Managing pension, payroll taxes, and deductions.
- VAT submissions and compliance.
- Assist in the generation of profit improvement by undertaking trend and cost analysis with comparison against the prior year and budget.
- Relaying and explaining to management both on a historical and forward-looking basis.
- Support and develop junior members of the team.
- Qualified Accountant either CIMA or ACA (Will consider finalist)
- Desire to learn and progress.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Be dynamic and able to cope with a fast-paced environment.
- Commercially focussed.
- Positive attitude and ability to deal with challenges and change.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Good Communicator and can explain complicated information in a way that is understandable to non-financial team members.
- Prepared to support and develop best-in-class reporting and presentation.
